English (as a foreign language) Training

Overview:

We offer tailored business and general English courses for those who need language skills to facilitate their work in the UK.

Course Content:

• the four language skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking
• grammar and structure
• how to communicate with confidence
• overcoming apprehension about contributing to meetings and learning how meetings work in a UK culture
• written language for reports, memos, e-mails
• pronunciation to help in general communication
• understanding more colloquial language to help in building relationships with British colleagues or clients at work and in a social context
• working in the UK and practical UK cultural issues taught as part of an English course.

We are able to prepare learners for the LCCI and Cambridge examinations as well as the internationally recognised IELTS (International English Language Testing System) examination.  Learners have the opportunity to do practice tests and review their weaknesses with our tutors.
