Face-to-face training remains at the heart at what we do, but we are happy to offer cultural training via web conferencing, distance learning modules and podcasts as well as supporting face-to-face and telephone sessions.
We are able to present short seminars (of 90 minutes inc Q&A) transmitted live over the Web at the request of our clients. This option allows our Cultural Trainers to share information simultaneously, across our client's geographically dispersed locations in real-time. A participant can be either an individual person or group. Easy to use and set-up, some software will need to be installed (usually via download) by the participants. Participants will only need access to the internet, headsets or a telephone. Sessions we have recently run include “Communicating Across Cultures”, “Hosting International Meetings”, “Preparing for an International Negotiation” as well as urgent country-specific briefings.
Through a partnership with WorldWork, we are able to offer clients E-Learning modules such as:
This is an online learning programme comprising six modules to help build the knowledge and skills required to work internationally. The modules are interactive and explore a range of issues of key importance to anybody working with people from different cultural backgrounds. The programme will allow an employee to explore, at their own pace and convenience, a framework for understanding and responding to today's international workplace.
The International Profiler is a questionnaire and feedback process based on 10 competencies and 22 related dimensions relevant to working in international roles. The competencies and dimensions have been developed on the basis of current research in the field of cross-cultural studies, combined with the practical experience of experts in the field and people working in international and multicultural settings. A client would be sent details of a web-based psychometric questionnaire for completion and would receive feedback from our expert and a fully detailed PDF report.
We will be releasing podcasts periodically to be downloaded through our website. These will include topics such as communicating across cultures, international English, international negotiations, international presentation and country-specific advice.
